Prakashini Dhanjee

Prakashini Dhanjee qualified as a Chartered Accountant, registered with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, in 1997.

Her area of specialisation is financial management consulting to the national, provincial and local spheres of government.

She gained public sector knowledge and experience as Chief Financial Officer for the KZN Provincial Treasury and acting Chief Financial Officer for the KZN Department of Sport and Recreation. Capacity building, through face-to-face training and hands-on training in the workplace, is one of her key strengths.

She is actively involved in developing unit-standards-aligned course material and facilitating courses, and is an accredited assessor. In addition to public sector consulting, she renders accounting and tax services to clients. Her attention to detail, problem solving and communication skills have made her assignments a success story.
